Spring 2026, Sophomore Year, College

This semester, I started experimenting with using computer science in tandem with art. "if you try again" was made using Arduino software and hardware, as well as Adafruit's Neopixel lights and a homemade capacitive sensor. This version of the piece is acts as a prototype for a much larger project I hope to pursue later down the line.

I also begun to make my own ceramic materials this semester, some of which are featured here! Anything made with a red stoneware is a clay I mixed by hand this semster, including my teapot! This is the first teapot I have ever made, and I am quite proud of it! I really enjoyed making it, and I hope to make more in the future.

I have been an artist for as long as I can remember, however this portfolio spans what I would consider my "professional" work. I have used a number of many different mediums such as various types of paint, lino cuts and printwork, digital mediums, clay, and even childrens crayons. I love to experiment, and this portfolio reflects that. As of right now, however, my main focus is ceramics. I have been playing with as many things as I can get my hands on in college, but ceramics is by far the area I am most passionate about.
